Organisation profile

Organisation profile

Teaching and learning in science and mathematics is one of the research-profiles of Kristianstad University.

The research within LISMA aims to increase knowledge about teaching and learning in and about mathematics and science. We do not look for content-independent descriptions on a general level, but instead the research is characterized by an insight into the specific content's specific significance for teaching and learning. The research within the group has to a large extent touched on learning and teaching that takes place in interaction between individuals, students' attitudes to science and mathematics, the nature of science, and the consequences of and strategies for different types of assessment.
