Personal profile

Research

My research focuses on person-centred care in outpatient settings for people living with long-term conditions, with a particular emphasis on how care is experienced from the patient’s perspective and how these experiences can be measured and used to improve the quality of care. I am active within caring science at Kristianstad University and affiliated with the research environment PROCARE (Patient Reported Outcomes – Clinical Assessment, Research and Education).

My research involves the development and evaluation of patient-reported outcome measures and assessment instruments for person-centred outpatient care. The field combines theoretical perspectives on person-centredness with psychometric and methodological approaches to generate knowledge that can be applied in both research and practical healthcare development. The overall aim is to contribute to more equitable, safe, and patient-centred care, where patients’ experiences and needs play a clearer role in evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.
