Research
My main research interest is students' concept development, primarily in calculus.
I am also interested in the role of mathematics in other subjects. I am, together with three other researchers, involved in a project where we study the role of mathematics in physics at upper secondary school. The project is funded by the Swedish Research Council.
A third interest of mine is the development of students' identity as mathematics teachers.
Teaching
I teach mathematics and mathematics education mainly at teacher education programs.
