Personal profile

Research

I have a Doctor’s Degree in Medical Science (2006) and became a reader in Gerontology at Lund University in 2014 and 2018 I became a reader in Health Science at Kristianstad University. I am a certified occupational therapist with experience in both healthcare and rehabilitation.

My research is generally focused on how different aspects and interventions in the home and the local environment affect health, activity, independence and inclusion of elderly people and of people ageing with a disability. My research also relates to increasing knowledge about care user participation in research on ageing and health.
