Since December 2009, I have been working as a university lecturer in Oral Health at Kristianstad University. Previously I worked as a dental hygienist in the Public Dental Care in Region Skåne, southern Sweden. In February 2020, I was enrolled as a doctoral student at the Faculty of Odontology at Malmoe University. My research is about the oral health status of individuals who are 60 years and older. The studies that will be included in my dissertation are based on material from the Swedish National Study on Aging and Care (SNAC) in Karlskrona, Blekinge, Southern Sweden, which contains medical and dental data. At Kristianstad University, I am an active participant in the research platform Health in collaboration and also belong to the research group Oral health -General health - Quality of life (OHAL).
