The purpose of this project is to investigate how Swedish society's increased interest in outdoor recreation during the pandemic can be preserved and developed to contribute to a resilient rural economy. Specifically, the project will analyze how the combined experiences of outdoor recreation and the hospitality industry, primarily food, during Covid-19 can contribute to sustainable transitions in the rural hospitality industry.
