Testing together! Co-creation processes for climate change through place-specific test beds

Project Details

Description

This project aims to explore how municipalities can steer a just and inclusive climate transition through co-creation and place-based activities. Specifically, the project tests climate transition activities in two places of Kristianstad that are characterized by different socio-economic conditions. Through co-creative processes where the needs of the place and the citizens are at the center, testbeds focusing on energy, transport and food are implemented to identify place-based solutions for climate transition. Therefore, the project develops knowldege on, and methods for, how the Municipality of Kristianstad can drive a fair climate transition grounded in citizen involvement.

Key findings

The project will, through co-creative processes, increase the knowledge about types of place-adapted activities and climate change transition on a group level and an individual level.
