Background: Eating disorders is a vegetative social issues and it shows as in anorexia, bulimia or binge eating. The importance of recognize the warning signlas and have the courge to seek help has a huge role in recovery. Experience and knowledge of care staff increases the patient's confidence, as does an individualized and pleasant treatment. Aim: The purpose was to shed light on patients' experiences of the healthcare staff's response to eating disorders. Method: The study is a general literature study based on 10 qualitative articles. The searches were conducted in three databases and the review template from HKR was used in the article review. Finally, an analysis process was performed based on Friberg's (2017b) three-step model. Results: The summary of the results constituted three main categories: negative experiences, patients' experiences and the significance of the relationship between patient and care staff. Discussion: In the method discussion, the study sheds light on the four concepts of credibility, reliability, verifiability, reliability and transferability. Results discussion: Three findings are highlighted, patients' experience of being seen based on their weight and BMI, that therapists who themselves had experience of being cared for had a better understanding and inclusion in their care.
