    Abstract

    The aim of this research is to study educators understanding of the tablet as an artefact in the preschool function. This is a qualitative study that was conducted with four educators who participated in semi structured interviews. Our results show a general positive perception among the educators but they see that there are development opportunities in the area. A conclusion that we made was that educators' perceptions of the tablet in preschool activities depend on their experience and the relationship they have with the artefact. Educator's perceptions also affect the use of the tablet in the preschool function
