Abstract

The study aims to examine the views and perspectives of five certified Swedish teachers on digital learning resources in Swedish language teaching at five different upper secondary schools. The framework factor theory has been used as the method and analysis of the qualitative empirical data. Interviews were conducted to learn about the Swedish teacher's implementation of digital learning resources in teaching. The results show that the Swedish teachers feel that the working method has been simplified and made more efficient for teachers and students. However, major challenges arise in connection with the students' reading and writing skills, making the teacher´s work more difficult. The results also show that there is a great need for competence training so that teachers feel confident in the use of digital learning resources. The experience of Swedish teachers is that students lack reading strategies, reading fluency, handwriting, and critically examine sources from different media.
