Customer contact in retail has become increasingly psychological and emotionally demanding. However, in recent times, situations of threats and violence, insecure employment and high workload have increased for retail workers which may cause the employees to experience negative stress and insecurity. Still, many remain and enjoy their work in retail.
The purpose of the study is to identify factors that affect the psychosocial working environment in retail and employee health and well-being. Method: Data collection was done through two individual interviews and two group interviews.
