National professional advisory board
An interdisciplinary national professional advisory board is established, with the aim to ensure that
the activities and content of the research school address the current and future needs of the dietetic
profession. The board has been consulted in the planning of the diverse research projects and overall
content included in the doctoral programme. and consists of the following persons:
- Elisabeth Rothenberg, PhD, associate professor, registered dietitian (RD), Kristianstad University.
Current president of SWESPEN (Swedish Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism) and
former president of the DRF (1990-2006).
- Ylva Orrevall, PhD, associate professor, RD, research and development manager, RD, Karolinska
University Hospital. Expertise in dietetic practice at hospitals.
- Anna Butén, Head of unit, Rehab Södra, Primary Health Care, Stockholm. RD with many years’
experience from management and practice in Swedish primary care.
- Lena Hansson, PhD, RD with speciality in pediatrics, Norrlands universitetssjukhus
- Cecilia Weznaver, RD, PhD student Sahlgrenska akademin, Göteborgs universitet. PhD student
representative.
- Nina Janson, PhD, head of Nutritional Science, Oatly AB; former editor in chief Nutritionsfakta.se
2016-2019. Expertise in nutritional science.
- Peter Stenvinkel, Professor of Nephrology Karolinska University Hospital and Karolinska Institute,
with a special interest in sustainable medicine and health care.
- Andrea Mikkelsen, PhD, RD, DRF specialist assessment board, senior lecturer at Gothenburg
university with expertise in pediatric nutrition.
- Linda Håkansson, Reg. nurse, child health care coordinator, Region Blekinge
- Ulf Sonesson, PhD, associate professor, Food systems sustainability expert, RISE Research
Institutes of Sweden.
- Anna Karin Lindroos, PhD, associate professor, RD, senior investigator scientist, nutritionist at
National Food Agency
