Climate Neutral Kristianstad 2030 (continued) will accelerate the transition to a sustainable, resilient and climate neutral society. Successful activities are scaled up through strengthened cooperation, involvement of more partners, innovative methods, and a curious approach towards learning. Based on local conditions, and the platforms established during the project’s first phase, mobilization towards a powerful climate transition in Kristianstad and twin city Tomelilla is reinforced. The project’s portfolio of activities focus on sectors with the largest negative climate impact, namely transportation and agriculture, as well as on energy transition.
Through partnerships, ripple effects and mutual exchange, this project will strengthen climate transition in northern and eastern Skåne. In the project consortia, the partners work together for a transformative climate transition that ensures a sustainable development from social, environmental and economic perspectives, both now and in the future.
