Sammanfattning

Measured wavelengths of the multiplet 3s3p²⁴P-3p³⁴S in the Al I-like ions Ca VIII-ZnXVIII have been used for deriving the fine structure intervals of the ⁴P term. These experimentally determined intervals have been compared with theoretical values from a multiconfiguration Dirac-Fock calculation.
